And so the adventure begins

I have compiled most of the items on my "To Buy" list, and the pile of "To Bring" is becoming larger in my living room. I am determined not to look like an over packed American, however; and so I am limiting myself to one backpack and a medium-sized, black rolling suitcase. I think I should make a relatively classy appearance at the airport on Wednesday. I've even acquired a rather sharp looking lap top case to complement the outfit.
